Cassie Higgins

Founder of Discovery Loft | Author, Story Architect, Emotional Cartographer

Cassie writes the way people feel before they know how to say it. With a background in narrative design, emotional development, and systems thinking, her stories live at the intersection of art, healing, and human behavior. Whether she's mapping the inner world of a child, a character, or a culture, Cassie's work reflects a singular mission: to build meaningful frameworks that restore connection—between people, between generations, and within ourselves.

Her debut children’s book Zuki and the Hidden Worlds is part fable, part roadmap—designed to help children (and their grown-ups) explore complex emotions with curiosity, not shame. Through The Loft, she continues to co-create books and build worlds that reflect depth, nuance, and radical honesty.

Scott Badillo

Loft Visual Architect | Emerging Visuals | Observer of the Unspoken

Scott translates story into form.

With a background in visual design and tattoo artistry, Scott works at the intersection of image, emotion, and structure. His role inside Discovery Loft is to take abstract concepts and give them shape—turning narrative frameworks, symbolic worlds, and raw ideas into visual experiences that can be felt as much as they are seen.

Scott approaches design as a form of embodiment. Whether he’s developing visual language, refining environments, or helping bring Cassie’s inner architectures into the physical world, his work reflects a singular focus: making meaning visible. He specializes in bridging story and structure, helping transform imagination into grounded, intentional design.

Through The Loft, Scott continues to co-create visual systems and story-driven worlds that reflect clarity, emotional depth, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
